William Warren Prescott (1855-1944) and his family.

He was the son of James Lewis Prescott, William Warren (W.W.) became a major figure in the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. His wife was Sarah Frances Sanders (1856-1910), daughter of Jacob Perry Sanders and Frances Maria Folsom, of Concord. Sarah and William's son was Lewis William Prescott, b.12 Oct 1891 in Battle Creek, Michigan, and killed in action 22 Apr 1918 near Corbie, France. He was a 2nd lieutenant in the Royal Flying Corps and was killed while on a bombing and strafing mission.

Word of Lewis’s death came to his father while he was in China on Church business. W.W. moved to Takoma Park, MD, near the SDA Church headquarters. - info from John Johnsen
